New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Virginia University of Integrative Medicine will co-host Wildlife Protection in TCM’s 2nd conference on Sunday April 14, 2024 at New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York. The conference follows the widely attended and successful first conference that was held in October 2022 in San Francisco, California. That conference featured 16 international speakers. At that time 30 major TCM organizations committed to protecting wildlife and not using any endangered wildlife in Chinese Medicine.
The aim of the conference is to provide successful experiences in the Chinese Medical Practice without use of endangered wildlife (animal) products by worldwide experts. The diversity of international speakers at this year’s include educators, researchers, practitioners and herbal manufacturers from around the world. Topics covered include cancer treatment, herbal applications in hospital settings, cardiovascular treatments, herbal substitutes for endangered species and Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage). Attendees will be eligible for 7 CEU credits (NCCAOM and CAB).
