PlainTalkPractice.com provides patients and allied care professionals with a win-win approach to health care.
June 28, 2022, Minneapolis — Licensed acupuncturist Robert Hoffman and his team at PlainTalkPractice.com have a proof of concept that assists students in breaking through the Asian medicine terminology language barrier.
The PlainTalkPractice.com system simplifies Eastern terms and concepts into clear and understandable English descriptions, offering a solution to health care professionals that allows them to invite patients to play a more active role in their own healing journey. Rob recently authored an article in Acupuncture Today discussing this very topic. Rob created PlainTalkPractice.com to help Eastern medicine practitioners, licensed acupuncturists, and allied health professionals explain Eastern medicine terminology by using words and ideas that simplify the often-confusing medical language for the patient.
The online, live and zoom-based courses offer an intuitive approach to mastering terms to help with patient retention, improve referrals, and more importantly, help streamline and improve Western speakers’ comprehension of Eastern medicine.
The course includes three modules. Module 1 is a self-paced two-hour online course for $49. Module 2 is a one-hour course for $24 and Module 3 is one and a half hours for $36. Classes are offered via Zoom currently, but in-person classes and events are being planned. For more information, visit www.plaintalkpractice.com or call (727) 418-9586.
