Unlike digital, the journey of each print issue to your doorstep involves multiple machines and processes overseen by various organizations:
- Printing, folding, binding and trimming are all performed at our printers, taking a little less than a week.
- Labeling, trucking and delivery to the U.S. Postal Service regional center nearest you can take another week, depending on your location.
- Final delivery via U.S. Postal Service to your door takes another few days.
Getting your news and information sooner is not the only reason to read Dynamic Chiropractic's digital editions online. Each digital issue features a number of tools that let you do things that are much easier to do digitally than in other formats:
Download & Save an Article –
Download and save an electronic version of an individual article.
Search –
the entire issue for specific information.
Past Issues –
Access previous issues / articles anytime you like without having to file them away for later.
Email Article to a Colleague –
Email an article link to a colleague.
Post to Social Media –
Post an article link to share with your friends and followers.
Print an Article –
for your files or reception room.
In addition to the above, digital editions have the ability to provide you with information directly from Web pages, rather than print pages. If you see a digital advertisement and want more information, you can easily click on the ad and go directly to the Web page for more information. But that's just the beginning.
Take a look at page 3 in the digital edition of this issue; it's the page that immediately follows the front page of the issue. On page 3, you can watch a series of videos of DCs talking about PEMF cellular exercise. These videos are provided by Pulse Centers and are actually on its Web page, but are included on the pages of our digital edition via some fancy technology.
On page 10 of the digital edition, there is an offer for free samples from Dee Cee Labs, just for opening a new account. You can open your account and request your free samples right on the Web page presented on page 10. No additional clicking is necessary.
You can also order free samples from Solutions 4 on page 20. Please note that, like page 10, this is an interactive Web page that allows you to enter your information to order your free samples.
On page 24 of the digital edition, you can order a free report on a "3-Prong Approach to Weight Loss" from Dr. Todd Singleton of Singleton Systems. Again, this is an interactive page that provides immediate access to the information.
Finally, when you first enter the digital edition, you will see video information from GoChiroTV (to the left of the front page) about its program to educate your patients as they sit in your reception area. (This is a silent video, as the program is designed to not disturb your staff.)
Of course, there is always the obvious reason to read Dynamic Chiropractic digitally – as a service to our environment. The print issue you are holding was processed from trees, with ink added. It has been transported at least four different times via motor vehicle; processed five or more times in different facilities on machines that use significant amounts of electricity; and wrapped in plastic at least once. Even if you recycle it, each print issue makes a big impact on our environment.
If you'd like, I would be happy to send you an email letting you know what articles are in each digital issue and when they are ready to read online. If you already get our emails, please give the digital editions a try. If not, please email me your name and email address at and I will provide you with the information.
Thank you for your continued readership and support.
