NJ Chiropractic Society Mines for New Voters

By Editorial Staff
TRENTON, New Jersey - The New Jersey Chiropractic Society, in conjunction with local county associations, has initiated a "Get-Out-The-Vote" campaign to register voters for the June primary and November's general election.

"With all 120 legislative seats and the governor up for re-election, our members are determined to register new voters and mobilize voters, explained Steve Clarke,DC, of Nutley, New Jersey, co-chairman of the voter drive. "Most patients do not know who their district representatives are," he observed. "Our goal is to make them aware."

Co-chairman Robert Wise,DC, added: "Through a statewide effort we can make a difference in an election, and have a voice in health care issues that affect our patients' rights to access their providers of choice."

Accompanying the registration forms will be emails to patients about health care legislation, and news about the legislators.

"It's time our profession gets involved," asserted Dr. Wise. "With the help of the internet, we can reach thousands of people."
