The Arizona Chiropractic Preferred Provider Association (ACPPA) has recently decided to discontinue its efforts to establish group provider programs for HMO and PPOs structure in the insurance industry.
Arizona's Annual Founder's Day is usually sponsored by one of that state's chiropractic associations for the purpose of commemorating the founding of the chiropractic profession. However, due to the continuing turmoil between the Arizona associations (the Chiropcatic Association of Arizona and the Arizona Chiropractic Alliance), the ACPPA, a non-profit organization, will be sponsoring the celebration this year. In this peace-making gesture, their goal is to bring all of the Arizona associations together for a day of fellowship, education, and inspiration.
With Founder's Day being September 18, the following Saturday (September 22) was chosen for this superb convention. This year's theme will be "Chiropractic Health Care Delivery in the '90s." Speaking on various topics regarding how to integrate proficiency and expertise in providing chiropractic services will be: Kirby Landis, D.C.; Mr. Jerry Campbell, president of Professional Development Corporation (PDC); and Michael Pedigo, D.C., past president of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA); and Ms. Joyce Clydesdale will be addressing chiropractic staff members in attendance on topics relating to trends in office management and efficiency in the '90s.
Besides all the great information both the DCs and CAs will receive from these outstanding chiropractic leaders, a terrific banquet will be offered, featuring renowned speaker, Robert Griffin, D.C. There will be a registration fee of just $30 for Arizona DCs and their entire staff and spouses. This price includes one banquet ticket. Each additional banquet ticket will cost $25.
Out of state DCs are invited to share in this outstanding event at a cost of just $75 for themselves, their spouses, and their entire staff. This price also includes one banquet ticket; each additional ticket will be $30.
Deadline for reservations will be 12:00 p.m. on September 20. Seating will be restricted for both classroom and banquet, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
