Greenawalt Foundation Donates $1 Million to Parker College
At the February 2007 Parker Seminars in Las Vegas, the Dr. Monte H. Greenawalt Foundation donated $1 million to Parker College of Chiropractic.
Addressing Dr. Mancini, Kent Greenawalt stated, "You have known my father a long time and have a very special relationship with him. Because of that relationship and the wonderful results you have achieved at Parker College, he felt it appropriate to make a significant donation to you and this school. As a Director of the Foundation, representing my father, he is pleased and honored to award you this one million dollar donation."

"[He] shares our philosophy and our dedication to provide the best chiropractic education possible. Dr. Greenawalt's gift assists Parker College as we continue our mission to advance the chiropractic profession and to raise the standards of chiropractic education."
NBCE Fills District V Director Spot - Temporarily
Norman Ouzts Jr., DC, has been elected interim District V director of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). Dr. Ouzts replaces Dr. Steve Willen, who resigned as District V director and NBCE chairman of the board on March 3. Dr. Ouzts will serve in the position until May 4 of this year, at which time delegates will nominate someone to fill the remaining two years of Dr. Willen's term.
A graduate of Life University, Dr. Ouzts has been in practice in Greenwood, S.C., since 1992. A former District V director of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards, he has been a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association for 11 years, serving as association president in 2005-2006. He also served two terms on the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners - as vice chair from 2002 to 2004 and as chair from 2004 to 2006.
As District V director of the NBCE, Dr. Ouzts will represent delegates in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida.
