D'Youville College Professor Working With World Spine Care
Dr. John Taylor, professor and coordinator of diagnostic imaging in D'Youville College's chiropractic department, has been selected to consult with World Spine Care (WSC).
Founded by Scott Haldeman, DC, MD, PhD, in 2008, World Spine Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to filling "the profound gap in the evidence-based treatment of musculoskeletal and especially spinal conditions found in underserviced areas around the world." Call for Submissions: Sherman Research and Philosophy Symposium
Sherman College of Chiropractic has announced a call for submissions in advance of its Oct. 8-9, 2016 annual International Research and Philosophy Symposium. Abstract submissions in the form of 300-word papers with complete references can be submitted to Dr. John Hart at until April 1, 2016. Authors should include CVs, and abstracts should address topics related to the 13th annual conference's theme of "Subluxation Correction: Essential to Patient-Centered Care." A peer-review process will be used to select abstracts for podium, poster or panelist presentation during the conference.

Dr. Mark Ziegler Back on Chiropractic Campus
Dr. Mark Ziegler, former president of Northwestern Health Sciences University, is now vice president of institutional advancement at Life Chiropractic College West. Dr. Ziegler served as the fifth president of NWHSU and brings 35 years of chiropractic experience to Life West, which outlined his role in a press release:
"Dr. Ziegler will help deepen the tradition of alumni philanthropic support, engage the greater Life West community with advancement efforts, inspire new thinking, seek out creative and innovative sources of philanthropic support and work in partnership with the Board of Regents' Development Committee, the President and Vice President, the head of the Health Center, and other staff and faculty to support fundraising activities."
