WFC Among Founding Members of Global Rehab Alliance
The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) is one of 14 founding members of the Global Rehabilitation Alliance, a World Health Organization initiative designed to, according to the WFC, "advocate for rehabilitation services around the world and to strengthen the role of rehabilitation in health and social systems around the world."
Other founding members of the Global Rehabilitation Alliance include the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; Dementia Alliance International; Global Alliance for Musculoskeletal Health; Humanity & Inclusion; International Council of Nurses; International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); ICRC MoveAbility Foundation; International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics; International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine; International Spinal Cord Society; World Confederation for Physical Therapy; World Federation for NeuroRehabilitation; and World Federation for Occupational Therapy.
"The founding of this important alliance comes at an important time," said Dr. Côté. "I am honoured and privileged to have been elected by the founder members of the GRA to sit on its Board and look forward to contributing to coordination of advocacy work in this area of global health. As an epidemiologist, I am all too aware of the catastrophic global impact of disability and the GRA's advocacy efforts will make a key contribution towards supporting WHO's commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals."

Western States' Online Degree Programs Among Best in the Nation
The University of Western States' online master's program in human nutrition and functional medicine, and its online master's in sports medicine, have been named among the best in their respective areas of study for 2018. The degree programs were recognized by BestColleges.com and CollegeChoice.net.

Logan University, University of Missouri-St. Louis Forge Partnership
Logan University has partnered with nearby University of Missouri-St. Louis whereby currently enrolled Logan students, their spouses and dependents are eligible to receive vision care at any of the UMSL College of Optometry's three full-service eye care facilities; while enrolled UMSL students, spouses and dependents are eligible to receive chiropractic care at either of Logan's two health centers. According to Logan, "Students who participate in the reciprocal clinic program receive complementary new-patient exams, with reduced fees for any additional exams, procedures or diagnostic services."
