2007 Parker Seminars Celebrates 55 Years

By Kathryn Feather, Senior Associate Editor

Chiropractors from across the nation will converge on the Las Vegas Hilton Feb. 7-9, 2007, to attend the latest Parker Seminars, "Reflecting on the Past ... One Voice for the Future."

"We are excited about our special Parker Seminars anniversary celebration," said Dr.

Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic and Parker Seminars. "This commemoration provides us with a powerful  communication tool to celebrate our values and vision for the future, as well as provide a historical perspective. Our Las Vegas event is a wonderful opportunity to look at our future and set a course for Parker and a message all of chiropractic can enhance and support."

One addition to the 2007 seminar program is a first-timers orientation, designed to help maximize attendees' time and seminar experience. Other new features include an expanded expo with more than 300 booths and daily prize drawings, the 55th anniversary celebration, continuing education and CPR certification classes and chiropractic assistant classes.

Featured speakers and classes include Daniel Murphy, DC, presenting "Phospholipid Neurobiology as Related to Chiropractic Spinal Adjustments and Chronic Degenerative Spinal Pain," Guy Riekeman, DC, discussing "Leadership and Entrepreneurship," Ken Thomas, DC, presenting "Putting Personality Into Your Office: How to Better Communicate with Patients and Office Team," Gene Orlowsky, DC, demonstrating "Implementing the Parker Principals for Practice Success," and Chris Widener, discussing the "Secrets of Influence: Persuasive Communication Techniques." Charles Ward, DC, will present "Developing the Lifetime Patient," Bob Hoffman, DC, will discuss "Why This is the Best Time to be a Chiropractor," and celebrity speaker Stedman Graham will show attendees how "You Can Make It Happen."

Attending DCs can earn up to 12 continuing education credits, awarded by Parker College of Chiropractic, pending state board approval. Visit the new Parker Web site (www.parkercc.edu) for updated information regarding which states have CE approval.
