Chiropractors from across the country will gather in Tampa, Florida March 30-April 1, 1990, to hear key strategies needed to succeed in the new decade ahead of us.
The occasion is the 64th Annual Convention and Scientific Symposium on Spinal Biomechanics of the International Chiropractors Association.

A focus throughout the program this year is pediatrics with presentations ranging from practice protocols to research presentations, as well as clinical assessments of infant diagnoses and treatments.
Famed American Olympic Gymnast Mary Lou Retton will be the opening luncheon speaker, Friday, March 30, 1990. The luncheon will be hosted by the ICA Auxiliary.
Retton, 22, soared to international acclaim in 1984, as the first American woman to win an Olympic Gold Medal in gymnastics. Then at only 16, she also captured two Silver Medals in the team and vault categories and two Bronze Medals in uneven bars and floor exercise.
Holding strong views on health, conditioning, family values, dedication to goals, and substance abuse, Retton will find a receptive audience in the chiropractic attendees.
Retton has recorded victories in numerous gymnastic events, including three-time consecutive winner of the American Cups of the U.S. Gymnastics Association. She was the first American to take Japan's prestigious Chunichi Cup. In 1984, Sports Illustrated named her Sportswoman of the Year; and Associated Press, Amateur Athlete of the Year.
A convention session will take place March 31 on "Human Performance and Physical Fitness Testing," to be presented by Deloss Brubaker, B.S., M.S., Ed.D.
