"After an extensive search, we determined Sharon, Robert, and Thomas were the best candidates because of their proven leadership skills, extensive involvement in patient care, and their reputation as independent thinkers," said Dr. Chuck Ribley, chairman of Life University's Board of Trustees.
Dr. Klapp graduated from Life College in 1979 and has practiced in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1980. He is the president of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations. He has served on two Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) visiting teams: a 1993 team that visited the Pennsylvania Straight College of Chiropractic, and another that visited Life Chiropractic College West in 1995.
"Thomas' extensive knowledge of the accreditation process and leadership experience in the chiropractic profession will be a valuable asset as Life University evolves," noted Dr. Ribley.
Dr. De Bonis has managed a New York-based chiropractic practice since 1978. A graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Dr. De Bonis was a founding member and officer of the New York State Chiropractic Council, and has served on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is the chairman of the New York State Board for Chiropractic.
"His 24 years of chiropractic practice and continuous demonstrations of leadership in the field prove that he has the knowledge, experience and talent to help secure the success of Life University," stated Dr. Ribley.
A 1984 Life University graduate, Dr. Gorman manages three chiropractic offices in Pennsylvania. She also serves as a Pennsylvania representative to the Life University Alumni Association, and is the Northeast regional director of the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania. Dr. Gorman is known as a dynamic speaker.
"She has been a member of the President's Circle for many years and spoken to our students on several occasions. Her participation will help Life survive its current crisis with dignity and continue its success into the future," offered Dr. Ribley.
