Donald Clark, DC has been honored by Northwestern College of Chiropractic as the college's alumnus of the year. A 1980 graduate of NWCC, Dr.
"He has given immensely of his time and effort, said Jim McDonald, MBA, Northwestern's president for institutional advancement. "Don puts so much effort into the college and the profession."
Winning the award may have caught Dr. Clark by surprise, but it hasn't lessened his convictions about being the best chiropractor possible. "My personal philosophy is that I just try to be the best I can at whatever I do, and to do it from the heart," said Dr. Clark. "Now I have to work hard enough to earn this award."
Advanced Chiropractic Wins Mayor's Trophy
For the second consecutive year, the members of Advanced Chiropractic Back and Neck Pain Center in Bloomington, Minnesota won the Mayor's Traveling Trophy for the city's annual Shape Up Challenge.
The Shape Up Challenge is a friendly competition that occurs between businesses in Bloomington. Every week, employees of participating businesses received points for various aerobic, strength training and flexibility activities. With 850 points per participant, the employees of Advanced Chiropractic helped their work site win every category in their division.
"We wanted to show our patients that we are dedicated to fitness and a healthy, chiropractic-based lifestyle in word and practice," said Dr. Dennis Lenselink, the center's director. "Fitness and whole body well-being is a life long mindset that everyone should be involved in, and we strive to maintain the same level of fitness that we expect of them."
