On January 26th, the Universal Chiropractic Foundation (UCF) Inc., a non-profit group dedicated to providing free chiropractic care to children under 13, had its first annual fundraising car giveaway (see "Champion of the Children" in "DC" March 11, 1994).

Logan Gets a Grant Challenge
The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Oklahoma has offered a $20,000 grant challenge to Logan College of Chiropractic which is contingent upon the college reaching a $300,000 campaign goal by July 31, 1995. The $300,000 goal was prompted by an earlier $60,000 grant challenge to Logan from the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Education (FACE).
The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation was established in 1948 by the late John E. and Lottie Mabee, both natives of Missouri. The Foundation is one of the top 40 major foundations in the U.S. with assets of over one-half billion dollars.
