The members of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC), representing accredited chiropractic educational programs in the U.S. and abroad, have unanimously agreed to support the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress with a $50,000 pledge to be distributed over a three-year period.

"We are pleased to contribute to the efforts of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress," said Dr.

Frank Zolli, ACC president and dean of the University of Bridgeport's College of Chiropractic. "We believe they have the plan to seriously increase the awareness and utilization of chiropractic, which is a significant goal of this association."

The ACC represents all 17 Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE)-accredited colleges in the U.S. and several international programs, including Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, and the University of Quebec at Trois Rivieres. With the $50,000 pledge, the ACC joins a growing list of chiropractic organizations, institutions and vendors supporting the foundation and its ongoing campaign to inform the public of the health benefits chiropractic can offer.

National Chiropractic Mutual Insurance Company (NCMIC) and Foot Levelers have led the way with $1 million contributions; among the campaign's myriad other chiropractic supporters are state chiropractic associations in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Colorado, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia, Georgia, New York, South Dakota, and North Carolina; chiropractic publications Dynamic Chiropractic, Chiropractic Economics and DC Products Review; and chiropractic product/service suppliers Anabolic Laboratories, Breakthrough Coaching, Chirocode Institute, GMP Fitness and Standard Process. The complete list of corporate and individual contributors is available on the foundation's Web site, www.foundation4p.com.

"We are delighted to hear of the ACC's support," stated Kent S. Greenawalt, president of the foundation. "The ACC represents a cross-section of chiropractic education in the country and is another illustration of how the Foundation has been able to unify the profession under a single goal: to increase the positive press for this great profession."
