TCC President Steps Down; Interim Named

By Editorial Staff

Brad McKechnie, DC, DACAN, stepped down from his position as president of Texas Chiropractic College on Oct. 31 after less than two years of service, stating his desire to resume private practice. Named interim president: Larry Johnson, TCC board member since 2007 and board vice-chair for the past two years.

"[TCC] is fortunate to have benefitted from President McKechnie's distinctive leadership and vision, as he shepherded the college through its time of dramatic changes," said Dr. Monte Blue, chair of the Board of Regents.

As of press time, the college has not announced when and if it will initiate a search to find a permanent replacement for Dr. McKechnie.
