A Moment of Silence for Dr. Stephen Press

Dr. Stephen Press, founder of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS), International Academy of Olympic Chiropractic Officers (IAOCO) and WikiChiro, passed away on March 6, 2016.

In a widely disseminated obituary, his son, Dr. Robert Press, detailed his father's considerable accomplishments as a chiropractic sports physician in Englewood, N.J., for more than three decades; author of several books including History of Sports Chiropractic; and chief physician of the USSR Winter Olympic Team in Albertville, France. (His son notes the USSR had "disintegrated [by that time], leaving Dr. Press the only physician in Olympic history to be Chief Doctor for twelve countries."
