A New Ally for Medicare Parity

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has hired Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP, "an international lobby and law firm with deep experience in the healthcare sector," in a move designed to help increase congressional support for H.R. 2654, the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act. The immediate goals as of press time, per the ACA: increase co-sponsor support for H.R. 2654 in the House and introduce a companion bill in the Senate.


Another Award for the F4CP

The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress is a repeat recipient of a Digital Health Award from the biannual program of the same name. The foundation's "Adjusted Reality" podcast won bronze in the Digital Health Audio category for spring 2021 – the second time the F4CP has been honored (after receiving a merit award in spring 2020 for its article series on posture).


$25,000 from ChiroHealthUSA

Ashley 0'Steen is the 2021 recipient of the Foxworth Family Scholarship, awarded annually by ChiroHealthUSA. A student at Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida, Ashley received a $10,000 scholarship and $10,000 in cash. A $5,000 donation was also made to Palmer Florida as part of the $25,000 scholarship award.
