A large part of the funding will go toward a new science laboratory for several of CMCC's top researchers, allowing faculty to share valuable resources and collaborate on research projects.
"The generosity of the convention committee will open up several new possibilities for the advancement of chiropractic research at CMCC," said Dr. Moss. "We are grateful for (their) support in our goal to enhance the profession through high caliber, progressive research."
A leader in chiropractic research, CMCC and its researchers attracted more than $700,000 in new external funding for research activities in 1995. During the centennial convention of the Canadian Chiropractic Assoc., CMCC faculty placed first, second and third in the research platform awards.
