Making a million dollars doesn't seem all that uncommon these days, but unfortunately, giving away a million dollars seems to be increasingly rare. Not so in the case of Palmer alumnus Charles Keller, DC. A 1955 graduate, Dr. Keller recently pledged $1 million (including $500,000 in cash) as a legacy gift that "supports current projects underway at the college."
Dr. Keller's gift "comes at a time of unprecedented growth and momentum" throughout the Palmer College system, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Palmer press release. Among the current expansion projects underway: construction of the David D. Palmer Learning Commons at Palmer's Davenport campus, and a new academic building at the Palmer Florida campus.
"What we can accomplish is only possible because of the contributions alumni like Dr. Keller make to the College," said Dennis Marchiori, DC, PhD, chancellor and CEO of Palmer College. "Despite a tough year in 2020, we saw incredible generosity, which only affirms our vision for the future."
