New Best-Practices Guideline: Your Chance to Participate

By Editorial Staff

Do you provide chiropractic care for pregnant and postpartum women? This is your opportunity to help shape a new best-practices guideline on the chiropractic care of these patient populations.

The Clinical Compass has announced an important collaboration with Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and the Ontario Chiropractic Association to develop the best-practices guidelines for the chiropractic care of pregnant and postpartum women.

The Delphi project will include a panel of 40-50 chiropractors with experience caring for these patient populations, specifically those suffering from low back and/or pelvic girdle pain.

A call for participation has been issued, with a deadline to apply of May 2019.

Delphi panel participants will be asked to rate statements regarding best practices for chiropractic care of pregnant and postpartum women. Information from all participants will be compiled; when each statement achieves 80 percent or higher consensus among all panelists they will be formulated into a best-practice paper.
