Through its customary investigative channels, the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB) recently learned that an FCLB e-mail, which was sent to our member boards on November 27, 2002, forwarding an announcement from the Commission on Chiropractic Education (CCE), was apparently modified and widely distributed on December 1, 2002.
The modified version was sent from an e-mail address identified as: . It appears to have been disseminated to the FCLB contact list and may be interpreted as an FCLB document. As the recipients of this December 1, 2002, e-mail may have associated this correspondence with the FCLB, the Federation is hereby notifying such recipients that this e-mail does not represent a communiquè or the opinions of the FCLB.

In summary, the original FCLB e-mail of November 27, 2002, included a brief explanatory cover note and the verbatim reproduction of a public announcement by the CCE regarding proposed changes to the CCE Standards. This distribution was provided by FCLB as a service to our member chiropractic boards. The text of the original and correct e-mail of November 27, 2002, follows in its entirety.
