Dr. Paul Anthony White, founder of Wyoming-based nutritional manufacturer Nutri-West and one of 12 founding members of the International College of Applied Kinesiology, passed away on Oct. 17, 2009, at the age of 70.
Dr. White and his family started Nutri-West in 1981 to provide supplements to his family and patients; the company expanded rapidly and took on worldwide distribution. Fifteen years later, Paul and Marcia's children purchased the company, which continues to operate under their management. By that time, the Whites had purchased a ranch and were producing alfalfa hay and rasing Black Angus cattle. Ten years later, they purchased a winter home in Las Cruces, N.M., to enjoy their semi-retirement.
Dr. White is survived by his wife, Marcia; children Paul Anthony White II and his wife, Penny, Michele Franchesca Lisco-Ediss and her husband, Dr. Steve Ediss, and Tiffany Ann Moore; eight grandchildren, Megan Lisco, Chelsea Moore, Anthony White, Jordan Lisco, Andrew White, Taylor Lisco, Cooper Moore, and Austin White; twin sister Paula Egnoske and her husband, Cliff.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful German shepherd, Fritz.
Donations can be made to the Dr. Paul A. White Memorial Scholastic Fund in care of the First National Bank, P.O. Box 1570, Douglas, Wy., 82633.
