A Moment of Silence for Dr. Randy Crisp

By Editorial Staff
Dr. R.M. "Randy" Crisp, a chiropractor in San Diego County for over 43 years, died of a heart attack October 30, 2001.

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Randy was a singer and performer from the age of 13, but also a star quarterback in high school, and outstanding baseball player.

He was offered a full scholarship to the Juilliard School of Performing Arts, but opted instead to sign a contract with the Dodgers baseball organization.

He was a graduate of Palmer College in 1959, and opened his first office in Pacific Beach.

Randy leaves behind his wife, Cindy, son Dave, and sister Vina. He also leaves behind three special friends who are working toward their chiropractic degrees: Kristine Brew, Alicia Ortman, and Michael Villareal.
