Born in Madison, Wisconsin March 10, 1950, Dr. Raemisch was a 1977 Palmer graduate who served a three-month-long internship under Dr. Gonstead in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. After graduating, he assisted Dr. Victor Aguilera in setting up the first chiropractic clinic in Santiago, Chile. When he returned to the U.S., he moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico where he filled in for a doctor who was taking a year sabbatical from his practice. In 1980, Dr. Raemisch relocated to Tucson where he purchased Dr. Theodore Bryson's 25-year-old practice.
For the past 16 years, Dr. Raemisch worked to advance the profession by educating as many people as possible about the benefits of chiropractic care. He developed the first "Chiropractic Today" television show, and assisted in the development of "The Phoenix Show." He has served in various positions with the Arizona Southern Chiropractic Society, and through this organization he worked diligently for chiropractic's inclusion into hospitals.
A member of the President's Club at Palmer College in Davenport, Dr. Raemisch was scheduled to receive the "Fellowship in Palmer Academy" award to recognize his contribution to the profession and to his alma mater. The award was to be given to him at his son Chris' graduation from Palmer this October.
His generosity with his personal time and resources is legendary, serving countless hours in state association activities, most recently on the Convention, Legislative, Publications, and Awards committees of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic.
Dr. Raemisch is survived by his two sons, Chris and John, his mother Pauline, his brothers Bruce and Greg, and his sisters Morgan and Jean.
