The World Federation of Chiropractic has announced the publication of The Global Advance of Chiropractic: The World Federation of Chiropractic 1998-2013.

The book is written by Dr. Reed Phillips and includes a preface authored by Drs. Louis Sportelli and Gerry Clum, past WFC presidents. National to Conduct Study of Orthotics for Back Pain

National University of Health Sciences recently received a $406,000 grant from Foot Levelers, Inc., to conduct a three-year study on the value of orthotics for treating chronic low back pain. The randomized, controlled clinical trial will randomly allocate 225 volunteers with chronic LBP into three groups: an orthotic treatment group, a chiropractic plus orthotic treatment group and a wait-list control group; and assess perceived pain and functional health status at six and 12 weeks after randomization.
