Harry F. Hester, DC, graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College and founder / CEO of Dee Cee Laboratories, Inc., passed away on Oct. 17, 2019 at the age of 91.
Harry Hester joined the Navy at age 17 and enrolled at Lincoln on the GI Bill following his military service. After practicing as a DC for nine years in his home state of Kentucky, Dr. Hester sold his practice in 1962 and founded Dee Cee Labs in Madison, Tenn.
Eventually, Dee Cee Laboratories expanded with the addition of a manufacturing facility in White House, Tenn., which today serves as the site of the successful family-owed and operated company that has served the chiropractic profession for more than a half-century since its inception.
Described as "a loved, respected and devoted family man that enjoyed life to the fullest" and who "positively influenced the people he came in contact with over his long career offering generous friendship, leadership and encouragement," Dr. Hester leaves a loving wife of 41 years, JoNell (who also worked with him at Dee Cee Labs for 28 years); six children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Historic Rugby, Inc. (P.O. Box 8, Rugby, TN 37733). To share condolences, please visit the Hendersonville Memory Gardens website.
