Life West 2nd among 60 Colleges in Raising Money for AIDS Walk

Of the 61 San Francisco Bay area colleges and schools that sought pledge money for the 11th annual AIDS Walk San Francisco, Life Chiropractic College West ranked second in collected pledges ($3,796).

First place honors went to the University of California (Berkeley); third place went to the University of San Francisco.

The Life West team was comprised of 41 faculty, staff and students, who joined thousands of other walkers in Golden Gate Park July 20.

This year's AIDS Walk generated $3.5 million in pledges. The money will go to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and 30 other area AIDS organizations.
