To meet her new executive director responsibilities, Ms. Jordon resigned her position on the COCSA Board as District III director, a position now assumed by Michael Honea, executive director of the Georgia Chiropractic Association.
One of Ms. Jordon first duties as COCSA's executive director was dealing with the relocation of the organization's office to South Carolina. Meanwhile she has been developing a database of state chiropractic organizations to facilitate better communications with the member state associations, and developing projects that will benefit them. Three new projects have been developed to assist the state associations with fundraising and public relations. Those projects will be announced at the annual COCSA meeting.
Congress Will Meet in November
Among her busy schedule, Ms. Jordon has been organizing the annual COCSA meeting. This year's conference, "Leadership in the Next Millennium," will convene November 7-10 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Congressman James Corman, ICA's legislative consultant, will speak on recent elections and their impact on health care. Other speakers and their subjects include:
