Washington, D.C. TV Station Airs FCER Segment

By Editorial Staff
"Success Stories," a half-hour informational/commercial program, produced a segment on the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) funded by and in conjunction with the Foundation itself. The program aired May 9th.

"Success Stories" airs weekly on Saturdays from noon to 12:30 before sports on WUSA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C. Each program showcases three businesses.

The FCER has been working with the "Success Stories" group for several months. The eight-minute segment featured FCER President George B. McClelland, D.C., and FCER Executive Director Stephen R. Seater, CAE, responding to questions about chiropractic research and the FCER. The RAND study, the results of research projects, why the FCER has invested $1 million in randomized clinical trials, and the future of chiropractic, were all topics touched on during the program.

The segment also includes footage of DCs in their offices examining and counseling patients.

The FCER has a videotape of the "Success Stories" segment and has made it available to individual DCs. For more information call the FCER at (703) 276-7445 or 1-800-637-6244.
