If a major national public-relations organization held a competition involving, among others, representatives of the medical, dental, insurance, health care – and chiropractic – professions, whom would you expect to be nominated as a finalist, much less win? We wouldn't blame you if you didn't pick chiropractic, even as an advocate of your own profession. But that's exactly the correct response in this case.
As EVP of the foundation, Dr. McAllister has helped the F4CP's membership base grow significantly in just three years, from 8,000 members to more than 22,000 and counting. She also spearheaded a PR campaign two years ago to call attention to the opioid crisis and promote chiropractic as a nondrug alternative to opioids for pain relief. To date, the campaign features e-books, toolkits and three white papers, the most recent of which is "As the Opioid Epidemic Rages On, Chiropractic Is Recognized as Safer Option for Pain."
Dr. McAllister is also a prolific contributor to prominent media outlets including Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, Becker's Spine Review, Employee Benefit News and BOSS Magazine, among others, helping establish credibility and increase exposure for the chiropractic profession.
