Following a site visitation to NYCC this past fall by the Council on Chiropractic Education's (CCE) accreditation team and an appearance by NYCC before the CCE's Commission on Accreditation (COA) on January 21, 1999, the COA has announced the re-accreditation of NYCC for seven years.
"This is an outstanding accomplishment," said NYCC president Dr.Kenneth Padgett. "The commission's strong affirmation of ourmission and program sends a clear message that NYCC is at thevanguard for the betterment of the chiropractic profession.
Robert Daley, PhD, Elected to NYCC Board of Trustees
NYCC's board of trustees has announced the election of Robert Daley, PhD, to the board. He was elected at the board's October 1998 meeting for a three-year term.
Dr. Daley has been in private practice in New Hyde Park, New York as a psychotherapist since 1978. He has also worked extensively as a psychological consultant with the New York City police and fire departments and is former director of psychological services with the NYC Police Department. Currently, Dr. Daley is a psychological consultant to several major private and public legal and medical clients in the metropolitan New York area.
