This April, Dr. Douglas J. Van Vorst was granted hospital privileges at Amsterdam Memorial in Amsterdam, New York.
Dr. Van Vorst will work in the division of chiropractic within the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Amsterdam Memorial.
Dr. Van Vorst is a 1982 graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., and a 1986 graduate of New York Chiropractic College. He has earned postgraduate certifications as a sports practitioner and in manipulation under anesthesia. He has also completed a program on hospital protocols at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, and is enrolled in a diplomate rehabilitation program at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Van Vorst is a member of his state association, the American Chiropractic Association, the American Association of Spine Physicians, and the American Academy of Pain Management.
He resides in Perth with his wife and children.
