Parker Seminars: Shaping the Future

Parker College of Chiropractic will be educating chiropractic's best and brightest from Feb. 7-9 at the Parker Seminars at the Las Vegas Hilton. This year's seminar returns to its Thursday through Saturday schedule with a theme of "Shape Your Future, Inspire the World." Attendees can earn more than 17 continuing education credits while enjoying a unique opportunity for professional development and fine-tuning their business and clinical skills.

The 2008 program covers topics ranging from practice success and chiropractic philosophy to practice procedures and clinical success. Fabrizio Mancini, DC, kicks off the educational sessions on Feb. 7 with "Teleology: The Science of Being Naturally Right." Additional sessions feature Dynamic Chiropractic columnists Claudia Anrig, DC, discussing "The Drugging of Our Children - Educating the Parent," and Mark Charrette, DC, addressing "'The Typical Foot' Adjusting to a Better Step." Jeff Spencer, DC, will describe "The Winning Chiropractic Formula" and Michael Dobbins, DC, will focus on "Phytochemical and Nutritional Alternatives for Pain Management/Tissue Repair." Special events include an opening ceremony at 9 a.m. on Feb. 7, a Club Parker celebration party at 8 p.m. on Feb. 7, and two Get Fit exercise sessions on Feb. 8 and 9 at 7 a.m.

With more than 200 companies displaying diverse products, the Las Vegas seminar promises to be Parker's largest chiropractic expo to date. Exhibitors will include Biofreeze/Theraband/Performance Health, Drucker Labs, Activator Methods International, Myomed, Standard Process, Future Health, Inc., Erchonia Medical, Inc., Kool Fit America, Breakthrough Coaching, Spinetronics, Take Shape for Life, Apex Energetics, Inc., NCMIC Chiropractic Solutions, Foot Levelers and Select Comfort Corporation. The expo hours are: Feb. 7, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Feb. 8, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Feb. 9, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Convention registration rates for doctors are $410 if prepaid by Feb. 5 and $495 if paid after Feb. 5. After Feb. 5, all interested attendees must utilize the online system to register. Additional registration information is available at www.parkerseminars.com or by telephone (888) 727-5338.
