CCF Announces Theme/Dates for Celebration

Also Elects Members to Board of Trustees

After a December 8th meeting in Chicago, the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation (CCF) has announced that the official theme of the chiropractic centennial will be "The Grand Celebration: Commemorating 100 Years of Chiropractic." The dates for events were also confirmed: The year-long celebration will begin on Founder's Day, September 18, 1994, continue in Washington, D.C., July 5-9, 1995, and end in Davenport, Iowa September 13-17, 1995.

Each location will have a full schedule of continuing education, exhibitors, and association meetings. Special events unique to each location will be planned.

Elections

During the CCF meeting, elections were held to select Board of Trustees members:

Re-elected for three year terms were Dr. Roger Hulsebus, Dr. Patrick Keefe, and Mr. Donald Petersen Jr.

Dr. Louis P. Latimer was named to his first term as a member of the Board and will represent the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Officers elected to one-year terms were:

President -- Dr. William F. Holmberg

Vice president, marketing -- Dr. Kerwin P. Winkler

Vice president, planning -- Dr. Michael J. Hulsebus

Secretary -- Dr. Patrick T. Keefe Sr.

Treasurer -- Dr. Roger D. Hulsebus

Other business from the meeting included an agreement with the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) to coordinate all continuing education efforts for the Centennial celebration, with Dr. Carl Cleveland, III, named chairman of the Continuing Education Committee.
