Three educational institutions boasting chiropractic degree programs – Parker University, Logan University and Campbellsville University – are ranked in the top 25 "fastest-growing colleges in the U.S.," according to a Business Journal analysis of more than 1,500 "primarily campus-based, four-year colleges and universities with at least 1,000 students." Parker makes the list at #20, Logan at #17 and Campbellsville – whose new chiropractic school is set to welcome its first class of students in January 2022, becoming the 20th chiropractic degree program in the U.S. (see our article in this issue) – tops the list at #1. The rankings represent enrollment growth over the five-year period from fall 2016 to fall 2020.
"Parker University provides quality education to our students across many healthcare disciplines. Our Faculty and Staff are the embodiment of nurturing service. As a result, our students are the benefactors of that loving tutelage and guidance. An F3 tornado in 2019, and the continuing COVID-19 epidemic, might have been devastating for many, but our Parker family rallied, organized, and shifted everything online when it was necessary, and brought back live in-person classes as soon as it was feasible. None of the past year and a half, hard work, and loving service could have been remotely possible without Parker's faculty and staff!" — Dr. William E. Morgan, President, Parker University
"Our growth over the past five years truly speaks to the demand for careers in chiropractic and health sciences. This fall, we have 930 Doctor of Chiropractic students on campus and 900 students enrolled in online degrees in our College of Health Sciences. Next summer and fall, we'll continue to expand our degree offerings with the launch of master's degrees in Athletic Training, Strength & Conditioning and Integrative Pediatrics. All of this growth has given us an opportunity to plan a $28 million renovation and expansion of our Science & Research Center, which will be named the Fuhr Science Center, thanks to a $1 million lead gift from Logan alumni Dr. Arlan Fuhr and his wife Judi. While we see strong numbers in our enrollment, we continuously focus on cultivating new partnerships to provide our students enriching clinical experiences in a variety of collaborative and integrated health care settings." — Dr. Clay McDonald, President, Logan University
"Campbellsville University's remarkable growth is reflected in the popularity of its post-graduate professional education. The Chiropractic Program is taking the university to yet another level, one focused on healthcare. We see this as an opportunity to develop future complementary programs." — Dr. H. Keith Spears, Interim President, Campbellsville University
