American Public Health Assoc. to Meet in San Francisco

By Editorial Staff
The annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA) will be held this year in San Francisco, California, October 24-28.

The APHA is the oldest, largest, and most influential public health association in the the world.

Since 1983 the APHA has recognized chiropractic as "...safe and effective for neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and especially low back problems..." Over 500 DCs are now members of APHA.

The APHA's annual fall meeting is the largest public health gathering in the world. It's anticipated that some 12,000 health leaders from the local, state, national, and international community will attend, including government representatives worldwide.

The meeting will include three full sessions dedicated to chiropractic topics, and chiropractic scientific and technical papers will be presented.

Again this year, there will be chiropractic booths in the exhibit hall.

Chiropractic practitioners, educators, and students are urged to join and renew memberships in the APHA.
