WCA Produces Position Paaper Supporting SCASA

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

By Editorial Staff

The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) is supported by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the International Chiropractors' Association (ICA). The Straight Chiropractic Academic Standards Association (SCASA) is supported by the Federation of Straight Chiropractic Organizations (FSCO) and the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA). This alignment provides balance within the two areas of the profession.

The WCA developed and distributed a 24 page position paper on "The Acceptance of SCASA and SCASA-School Graduates." This paper was submitted by the WCA to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners in opposition to the adoption of Section 331.1, the proposed amendments to the chiropractic act (please see "California Board of Chiropractic Examiners Seeks Amendments That Will Mandate Educational Diagnostic Responsibility" in the April 11, 1990 issue of Dynamic Chiropractic). The WCA joined the Association of Straight Chiropractic Colleges (ASCC) and SCASA in giving testimony to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
