A Moment of Silence for Bertram Boyd,DC

On Thursday, November 7, 2002, Dr. Bertram C. Boyd, 76, passed away at a Baton Rouge hospital following a brief illness.

Dr. Boyd served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, after attending Loyola University in New Orleans.

After receiving his DC degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 1954, he attended several postgraduate classes, and began a long relationship with the Chiropractic Association of Louisiana, serving on its board of directors for three years.

As a practitioner of the Activator method, Dr. Boyd operated the Boyd Chiropractic Clinic in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He was a resident of Baton Rouge for 32 years.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gervais "Gerry" Boyd, and sister Warren B. Adams of West Lake. He was preceded in his passing by parents Warren C. and Kathryn A. Boyd, and sister Marion Jaymes.
