Life Soccer Makes 1st Nat'l Tournament Appearance

The Life University Running Eagles soccer team finished their season with a 23-3-1 record, which included the school's first appearance at the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Eagles earned one victory and one tie at the championships. All-tournament recognition went to Life players Pablo Nassar, Mark Tonner, and Ryan Austin.

 



Life Buys Old Macy Building to House New Clinic

Life University has bought the building that was the former site of Macy's department story. Half of the 60,000 sq. ft. building will be transformed into an outpatient clinic for student interns, classrooms, and academic facilities.

  • Ron Kirk, DC, MA, a life alumnus and a faculty member since 1979, has been named vice dean of the school of chiropractic.

  • Dr. Ron Roland, an educator for more than 42 years, is the new director of admission services.



Dr. Bean Retires

Dr. W.B. Bean, a 1962 Palmer graduate and practitioner in Tucker, Georgia for 25 years, has retired from chiropractic practice.

Dr. Bean was a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association for 35 years, and served as a district president (1969-1970). Dr. Bean was an instructor, director of clinics, and chairman of the division of clinical sciences for Life (1974-77).

Dr. Bean served in Europe with the U.S. Army VII Corps, and was retired in 1986 by the Army National Guard as a brigadier general after a 33-year career.
