LCCW to Receive High-Tech Learning System

By Editorial Staff
San Francisco attorney Arnold Laub, who specializes in chiropractic and personal injury law, has pledged $10,000 towards the purchase of a high-tech learning and review system for Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW). This state-of-the-art computer system, to be located in LCCW's library, combines the qualities of computers and high-resolution visual images of videodiscs. Mr. Laub presented his initial check to LCCW President Dr. Gerard Clum on June 5th.

Life West's first acquisition of software and images for the system will be the updated medical interactive radiology and teaching file. This program includes 40,000 x-rays and images from other sources such as computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resource imaging (MRI). Other software programs available in interactive videodisc format include neuroanatomy, microbiology, clinical pathology, and many other subjects.
