NBCE Issues Testing Update

The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners experienced several computer-based testing issues last year that forced the board to suspend CBT testing until further notice. According to a recent NBCE press release, while recent tests of the new computer-based testing format were promising and point to a 2018 launch date, "Parts I, II, III, and Physiotherapy exams on January 19-21, March 2-4, and August 17-19, 2018 [will be administered] using the traditional paper-and-pencil format. We will re-introduce the CBT examinations into our schedules as soon as possible."


NUHS Master Program Goes Online

National University of Health Sciences has redesigned its Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice to offer the program entirely online. The program began in September 2017 and includes part-time and full-time coursework options. For more information, visit www.nuhs.edu/msacp.


ACC Journal Gets Scopus Status

The Journal of Chiropractic Education, the official journal of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges, has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus, "the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings."

"The inclusion of ACC's JCE into Scopus is a positive affirmation of the scholarship of JCE. It allows our high-quality papers and conference abstracts to be found by thousands of additional researchers," said David O'Bryon, ACC president.


ChiroTouch Partners With Waud Capital

Electronic health records (EHR) and practice-management software provider ChiroTouch has announced a partnership with Chicago investment firm Waud Capital. According to ChiroTouch, Waud Capital will invest millions of dollars in the company, allowing it to, in the words of ChiroTouch CEO Robert Moberg, "continue our leadership role with software and growth."
