Enrollment Soars at Cleveland University
With 103 students starting the DC degree program this fall, Cleveland University-Kansas City boasts its largest entering class of chiropractic students in 38 years.
"Students are beginning to realize that the Doctor of Chiropractic degree is attractive to those seeking to help others stay healthy," said Melissa Denton, CUKC director of admissions, in a press release announcing the enrollment news. "People want to be proactive in maintaining proper health, and chiropractic is an affordable healthcare option that is essential in achieving that goal."
Palmer Florida Meeting Demands
Palmer College of Chiropractic's Florida campus is expanding with the addition of a new academic building set to be completed in 2022. According to the college, the building "will help the college meet the demands of rising student enrollment."
"The building will address both the immediate and long-term needs of the College's expanding student population," said President Peter Martin, DC. More than 800 students are currently enrolled at Palmer Florida.
Logan Offering on-campus COVID-19 Testing to the Public
As of late October, Logan University is offering COVID-19 PCR and antibody testing to the public through its in-clinic lab, Lab Test Diagnostics. While the tests are not free at the point of contact (but can potentially be reimbursed via insurance), the service allows members of the community to confidentially determine whether they are currently infected with the virus (PCR) or have developed antibodies due to prior infection. Testing is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at specific times.
Graduate of Keiser University's First Chiropractic Class Steps Up
Dr. Casey Rogers, a member of the first graduating class of Keiser University's College of Chiropractic Medicine degree program, wasted no time in becoming an advocate for the profession, requesting and obtaining a gubernatorial proclamation for National Chiropractic Health Month from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Standard Process Renews Partnership Agreement
