About the Columnist
John W. Hanks,DC is a National College of Chiropractic graduate with degrees in psychology and healthcare systems. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture and a diplomate with the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He has been a faculty member with the New York College of Chiropractic and the Palmer College of Chiropractic. His travels have also taken him from a faculty position at Waseda School of Healing, in Tokyo, Japan, to his current position as visiting professor at the Colorado College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Hanks' published articles include those in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association, Chiropractic Economics, and the Colorado Chiropractor, for which he was managing editor for several years.
The career of Dr. Hanks spans over a quarter century, and he has practiced in Illinois, New Mexico, and presently in Denver, Colorado, where he has maintained his office since 1975.
