Kinesio Tape



Minneapolis, MN- Kinesio Tape is an elastic athletic tape of extreme high quality, and was specifically designed by Dr. Kenzo Kase to provide exceptional results for Kinesio Taping. Kinesio Tape was designed to be worn on the skin for an extended period of time (3-4 days) without irritation, as well as during strenuous exercise or hydrotherapy. The adhesive is not only heat activated, but also will not leave any residue when removed. Kinesio Tape is latex free, FDA approved, and patent protected. Kinesio Tape has an elasticity of 140%, which matches the same basic elasticity found in ones skin and muscles, allowing Kinesio taping to work with your body. This provides full range of motion, support, and stability, without adversely affecting the natural range of motion.

The Kinesio Taping method involves taping over and around muscles in order to either: assist and give muscles support, or to fight over the contraction of the muscles. Use it to correct muscle function, improve blood/ lymph circulation, and reposition the subluxation joint. Kinesio taping alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by lifting the skin, resulting in pressure and irritation being taken off the neural sensory receptors.

OPTP carries 4 different colors of water resistant Kinesio Tape: Black, Blue, Red and Beige; all of which are the same size 2” x 4.5yds.
