Foot Levelers Supports a Future for FCER Fellows

Foot Levelers is pleased to renew its financial support to the continuing studies of promising young chiropractors as they strive to improve the research and educational footing of the profession through the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) Fellowship Program.

The primary objective of FCER's Fellowship Program is to provide doctors of chiropractic with advanced graduate education which incorporates research training. The intent of the program is to increase the numbers of trained chiropractic researchers.

"Research is a key component in the advancement of our profession. The ability to document our successes and communicate our value to the world is critical. There is no better investment to make in our future than to support new researchers who will be moving this important work forward." explained Kent S. Greenawalt, President and CEO of Foot Levelers.

FCER's Director of Research and Education, Anthony L. Rosner, Ph.D., explains the significance of FCER's Fellowship program: "The importance of postgraduate support for chiropractic research cannot be underestimated, not only for the profession but for the public as well. The entire future of chiropractic care lies in the hands of research to be able to document what is most effective, and in turn the entire future of research lies in the hands of the fellows whom we support. The grant from Foot Levelers has allowed some of the most qualified future researchers to continue with their studies toward obtaining an advanced degree and ultimately entering a career in research."

The Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research is chiropractic's oldest and largest non-profit organization devoted solely to building the research and education infrastructure of the profession. FCER has developed the research base which the profession enjoys today and strives to widen that base through research grants and the development of new researchers.
