This year marks Foot Levelers' 55th anniversary. What began as one man's dream to help his patients has now transformed the lives of millions. The dream continues today with a commitment to help patients and support the chiropractic profession.
In 1952, Dr. Monte Greenawalt had a vision: he wanted to support the body while still allowing his patients full range of motion. So he invented a way to balance the body by balancing the feet. His ingenuity created Foot Levelers. Dr. Greenawalt's vision is still going strong 55 years later. Foot Levelers' President and CEO Kent S. Greenawalt makes it his life's work to build on his father's dream by supporting the advancement of the profession and helping everyone achieve a healthy, pain-free lifestyle.
As part of Foot Levelers' unparalleled commitment to chiropractic, we provide continuing education seminars and give back to chiropractic colleges, state associations, and national organizations. Our License-Renewal Seminar Series and Educational Grant Program are vehicles for continuous giving to the profession. In 2006, we raised nearly $50,000 for chiropractic colleges, state associations, and COCSA. In addition, Kent S. Greenawalt is the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. In 2005, Foot Levelers pledged $1 million to support the Foundation.
