Foot Levelers Co-Sponsoring FCA Lecture With ChiroTouch
ROANOKE, Virginia — Foot Levelers is joining with ChiroTouch in sponsoring a 3-part class conducted by Kathy Mills Chang, MCS-P, CCPC at the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) National Convention. The FCA National Convention takes place August 27-30 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Mills Chang’s 3-part lecture is called “ICD-10: 4 Weeks Out – Are You Ready.” In the class, the Chiropractic insurance expert is covering the impending transition from ICD-9 coding to ICD-10 coding on October 1, 2015. Each of the 3 parts of her class qualify for 2 hours of Documentation credits.
The first part of her class begins on Saturday, August 29 at 10:20am in Bayhill 20-30, with the second and third parts to follow at 1:00pm and 3:20pm respectively.
Along with 5 Chiropractic insurance experts, and spearheaded by Mills Chang, Foot Levelers has complied an extensive Billing and Coding Manual. The Manual offers guidelines to Chiropractors on establishing medical necessity, coding, verification, and billing for orthotics, pillows, and rehabilitation equipment.
Foot Levelers is making these Billing and Coding Manuals available to FCA National attendees for free.
Foot Levelers is also showcasing it 4 custom orthotic flip-flops: SeabreezeTM, Midnight BreezeTM, and BlingTM for women, and CatamaranTM for men. In addition to the lectures, Foot Levelers is showcasing its full line of functional orthotics. The FCA National Convention is the first opportunity for Foot Levelers to exhibit its brand new XP3TM functional orthotic at a large Chiropractic event. 46.3% lighter than all other functional orthotics, the XP3 is suited for athletes and competitors. Attendees of FCA National are able to put their hands on the XP3 for the first time to experience its reduced weight.
The XP3 and other functional orthotics are being shown in one of Foot Levelers’ 2 booth spaces, while the second booth space is dedicated solely to the custom orthotic flip-flops.
