Foot Levelers and Parker Seminars Celebrate 55 Years of Excellence

This year marks the 55^th anniversaries of Foot Levelers and Parker Seminars, celebrating 55 years of providing top quality products, services, and educational opportunities to the chiropractic profession.

Foot Levelers and Parker Seminars had the unique opportunity to celebrate their anniversaries together during the Parker Seminars annual international event on February 7-9 in Las Vegas. The sixth annual Foot Levelers' achievement awards were presented to a group of the chiropractic profession's most distinguished leaders at the event. Foot Levelers' President and CEO, Kent S. Greenawalt, presented the awards in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

"We are privileged to have this opportunity to recognize their achievements and thank them for all they have done," Kent Greenawalt said of the award recipients. "These four individuals have made a tremendous impact on the profession."

The four Achievement Awards were given to the following recipients:

Dr. Monte Greenawalt Chiropractic Excellence Award - Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, President of Parker College of Chiropractic and the Parker Seminars. Dr. Mancini is a family man, internationally acclaimed professional speaker, educator, healer, philanthropist, and volunteer in many local and national groups. He began the Mancini Chiropractic Center in 1993 in Dallas, Texas, and has been serving thousands of patients to this day. Dr. Mancini has received many recognitions, such as the Heroes for Humanity Award, Chiropractor of the Year Award, CEO Award, ACA and TCA President's Award, to name a few. Recently, he was appointed to the Governor's Advisory Council on Physical Fitness. Dr. Mancini also co-authored Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul.

Achievement Award for Chiropractic Leadership - David Chapman-Smith, Secretary-General for the World Federation of Chiropractic. Twenty years ago, David Chapman-Smith hadn't even heard of chiropractic. He was hired to defend the New Zealand Chiropractic Association in a drama that would forever change worldwide perception of the profession. Today, Chapman-Smith practices in Toronto, Canada. He is the editor and publisher of The Chiropractic Report, co-editor of the Mercy Conference Guidelines, and General Counsel for the Ontario Chiropractic Association.

The Achievement Award for Chiropractic Education - Dr. Frank Nicchi, President of New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Nicchi, a 1978 alumnus and long-time faculty member, was appointed President of NYCC in 2000. Since that time, he has led new initiatives to develop clinical education programs that have solidified the College's vision and its emphasis on academic excellence and successful integration of chiropractic into diverse healthcare settings. Dr. Nicchi understands the value of quality partnerships. His relationship with Foot Levelers is providing the chiropractic profession with important research findings through the nation's first biomechanical laboratory, Foot Levelers' Biomechanics Research Laboratory on NYCC's campus. Dr. Nicchi was recognized for his creation of educational and clinical programs at NYCC that serve as academic benchmarks for the profession.

The Achievement Award for Chiropractic Philosophy - Dr. Bob Hoffman, President and CEO of The Masters Circle. Under his leadership, The Masters Circle has become the largest organization of its kind, serving wellness professionals throughout the country and worldwide with personalized coaching and personal growth programs. Dr. Hoffman is an educator, business growth expert, entrepreneur, international lecturer, author and success and leadership coach. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1978 and ran a high-volume practice on Long Island for 22 years. He was the 12^th President of the International Chiropractors Association and a Founding Member and Charter Member of the New York Chiropractic Council. On February 7, Dr. Hoffman was inducted into the inaugural class of 2007 Wellness Revolution Hall of Fame. He is also co-author of the recently published book, Discover Wellness, How Staying Healthy Can Make You Rich.
