Gloria Campos To Give Graduation Address During Parker College Commencement Ceremony

DALLAS, TX. - Parker College of Chiropractic is excited to announce that Gloria Compos, co-anchor of WFAA-TV Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas, will be the Graduation Speaker during Parker College's 56th commencement ceremony on April 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m., at the campus of Parker College. Parker College is located at 2500 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas, at the corner of Walnut Hill and Ables Lane, 2 blocks east of Interstate 35.

Gloria Campos is co-anchor of News 8 at 6 and News 8 at 10, and is the producer of "Wednesday's Child" on WFAA-TV/Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas. Campos joined WFAA-TV as a general assignments reporter in 1984. Campos' community involvement is extensive. She is a member of organizations such as the Advisory Board of the Department of Mass Communication at Texas State University in San Marcos, the Dallas Summit, the (DFW) Network of Hispanic Communicators and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists
