ROANOKE, Virginia—Dr. Monte H. Greenawalt was recently honored by Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida as the school named its café after the late founder of Foot Levelers. The ribbon cutting was held in August at Palmer’s campus in Port Orange, Florida. The café was named to honor Dr. Greenawalt’s lifetime dedication to growing the chiropractic profession, both educationally and financially, and his commitment to bettering patients’ lives.
Foot Levelers Chairman and CEO Kent S. Greenawalt, Dr. Greenawalt’s son, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony along with Vice President of Education Dr. Mark Zeigler. Kent Greenawalt noted the impact his father had on the chiropractic profession, “My father spent his professional life faithfully doing everything in his power to advance the chiropractic profession and improve total body wellness. This café is an outstanding tribute to his legacy. Attending the ribbon cutting was a great chance for me to remember and honor my father’s outstanding service to this profession.”
Also in attendance at the ribbon cutting was Palmer Florida campus president Dr. Peter Martin and Foot Levelers College Program Specialist Tony Holterman.
